Always interested in economics, politics, innovation and aviation, Zsolt Lazar originally studied to become an aircraft mechanic and completed an internship at a military airbase. He holds a ‘Managing in a Global Context’ Master’s degree from the Jönköping International Business School in Sweden, majoring in business administration and an International Business Relations degree jointly from the Hungarian International Business School and the British Oxford Brookes University. Additionally, he has attended several defence and security-related training courses in Sweden and Germany.
Besides this, his work experience has been gained in both the private and public sectors. He has worked in family enterprises, a development bank, a defence industry association and various departments in Hungary’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
He published his first defence industry-related book in 2015. Since then, he has published shorter articles in English and Swedish.
