Euro-Atlantic Café: Homeland Security

We are pleased to invite you to our upcoming Euro-Atlantic Café: Homeland Security- The Watchers on the Wall.

The Centre for Euro-Atlantic Integration and Democracy (CEID) launched a series of discussions about current issues in Hungarian and US foreign policy in 2015.

In the new series in 2016, organised in cooperation with the Common Sense Society (CSS) and supported by the US Embassy in Budapest, we are aiming at constructive dialogues on foreign and security policy, identifying common interests and explaining the background of potentially diverse views.

In our upcoming event, we will focus on the homeland security issues in the context of current challenges of Hungarian and American reality .

Our guests are:

Prof. Nathan Sales, Associate Professor of Law at Syracuse University College of Law, former Deputy Assistant Secretary for Policy at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security  and

Prof. Ferenc Bánfi, Executive Director of The European Union Agency for Law Enforcement Training (CEPOL)

The event will be moderated by: Ms. Edit Inotai, Senior Fellow of the CEID

Venue and Date: On Thursday 5:30 pm., 12th January, 2017 in Aranytíz Cultural Centre, Arany János street 10, 1051, Budapest
