24 Mar Edit Inotai speaking in a workshop about V4 + Germany

CEID Senior Fellow Edit Inotai spoke about the future of prosperity in Europe at the V4 + Germany workshop in Warsaw on 16th of March. The event was organized by the German-Polish Foundation and Visegrad Insight. Ms Inotai commented on the notion of the V4 being the growth engine of the European Union, spoke about the chances of real convergence and the vital trade ties of the region with Germany. She called the attention to two major challenges of the future: the low-wage trap and the effects brain drain can have on the societies and demographic structures of the V4 countries.
