András Lázár

A CEID external fellow since January 2023, András Lázár is an international relations expert and former diplomat. Before his current job in the private sector, he worked at Hungary’s foreign ministry in various positions including head of unit and chief of staff, focusing mostly on regional cooperation in Central and Eastern Europe (V4; Three Seas Initiative). In 2019-20, he was Hungary’s Transatlantic Diplomatic Fellow at the U.S. Department of State.

András has a master’s degree in International Relations from the Corvinus University of Budapest. He has held lectures, contributed to conferences as speaker or moderator, and published articles on Central Europe and Transatlantic relations.
