Dorka Takácsy
Dorka is a researcher, with a passion for politics in Russia and the CEE region.
She pursues her Ph.D. studies at the Corvinus University of Budapest, contemplating the broader topic of Russian domestic disinformation about the West.
She is currently a Research Fellow at the Centre for Euro-Atlantic Integration and Democracy (CEID), focusing on disinformation. Dorka is a Marcin Król Fellow of Visegrad Insight in 2022/23.
Regarding her studies, she obtained an MA in International Relations at the Central European University, and a BA degree in International Business from the Budapest Business School, and the University of Picardy Jules Verne.
She carried out studies at the ICHEC Brussels Management School, at the Pushkin State Language Institute in Moscow, and the George Mason University in Washington DC as well. She gained professional experience, among others, at the European Parliament, Political Capital Policy Research Institute, and the National Defense University in DC.
She is fluent in Russian, English, German, French, and Italian besides her mother tongue Hungarian, and currently learns Croatian.
