22 Nov Consultations of Georgian Civil Servants in Hungary
CEID host Georgian civils servants within the framework of the Civil Servant Mobility Program (CSMP) of the Think Visegrad Platform from 24th to 28th November. During their stay, participants will have the opportunity to visit Hungarian public institutions, including the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, the Ministry of Justice, the Hungarian Prison Service HQ, the seat of the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information, and that of the National Protective Service, as well as the Headquarter of National Police to discuss some of the most relevant experience of the European integration process. Through consultations with experts and practitioners they will be provided an authentic insight into the experience of the Hungarian EU accession, and they will have the opportunity to discuss the different aspects of the three featured themes of the program: Correction, Fight against corruption and Personal data protection.
Our Think Visegrad partner the Institute for Foreign Affairs and Trade will host participants for a day to introduce some of the key public administration reforms of the recent years.
Participants will also be welcomed by Mr. Csaba Balogh, the Deputy State Secretary for Eastern Partnership from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, which institution supported us in the coordination of the event.
